Dr Paris Acharya is an aesthetic doctor and the founder of Clinic Dr Paris in Marylebone, London. Dual-qualified in medicine and dentistry and a former maxillofacial surgeon, she has practised aesthetic medicine for over 15 years and is a recognised authority in regenerative aesthetics, with a particular focus on subtle facial rejuvenation, skin health, hormones and the intersection with wellness and longevity. She has featured in the Tatler Beauty & Cosmetic Surgery Guide.
Training and surgical background
Dr Paris graduated with Honours in Dentistry from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London, and qualified in Medicine at the University of Birmingham. She went on to postgraduate training in dentistry and surgery, gaining Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS Ed).
She worked for over ten years in oral and maxillofacial surgery, in head and neck reconstruction, including the repair of facial fractures and the treatment of facial skin cancers, latterly focusing on oral and orthognathic surgery. This surgical grounding gave her a detailed understanding of facial anatomy, proportion and how the layers of the face change over time, which informs her aesthetic practice today.
Her move into aesthetics was gradual: first using muscle-relaxing injections for medical conditions within the NHS, then building her aesthetics private practice alongside her surgical work. Dr Paris continues to work occasional shifts in NHS emergency medicine.
CLINICAL APPROACH
Dr Paris is known for her empathy, warm communication style and carefully considered advice. She has a light touch and favours natural, gradual results that preserve character and individuality. In her words, the goal is not transformation, it is refinement.
Treatment plans are tailored to patients as needed, using safe, clinically proven modalities; the most effective option may simply be a skin booster or course of microneedling, or Dr Paris may recommend a layered or staged protocol to address multiple concerns over a period of time. She also develops signature treatments exclusive to Clinic Dr Paris (including GlowGetter & Glowfhilo), informed by the latest research, clinical developments and evolving patient needs.
Given the breadth of her experience, Dr Paris takes an integrated view of aesthetics, in which facial structure and skin health are considered alongside underlying physiology, lifestyle and the wider factors that influence them, rather than as separate concerns. Her aim is to restore, support, enhance and optimise, never over-correct.
In recent years, Dr Paris's practice has extended to hormonal health, hair and scalp health, and wellness programmes (such as Femme Reset & Apollo Reset), reflecting the same integrated view of the interplay between physical health, skin health and overall wellbeing.
Many patients have been with Dr Paris for years and she considers their trust, and the privilege of guiding them through different life stages, the most meaningful part of her work.
Teaching and industry
Dr Paris mentors aesthetic practitioners through the Dr Paris Academy and is a member of the AesthetiCare faculty. She is Global Ambassador for ALLSKIN | MED and a key opinion leader for PCA Skin and CACI, and a clinical expert and trainer for ABG Lab. She speaks at national and international congresses, including IMCAS and AMWC, as well as the Aesthetics Conference and Exhibition and the Royal Society of Medicine, and is a panellist and judge at industry and media events.
